Oh wow, that is a great idea for a plot. I can't wait for more of this!

Don't forget to make sure their names also work for their appearances.
Hm, Sunfall. How about Ryestorm? And then there's Fuzzypelt... oh sheesh that name is just ick. And every single freaking Elder in Thunderclan needs their names changed. Just... WEEDwhisker? LarkSONG? MUMBLEfoot? Of course my favorites are Littlebird, Poolcloud, Lilystem and Archeye since it's like what.

I don't even know. But seriously, I thought those names were awful to look at, but let's take a look at freaking Crookedstar's Promise.
Brightsky. Piketooth. Lakeshine. Shimmerpelt. SUNFISH. Freaking Softpaw and Echomist. BIRDSONG. It's just whatisthisidonteven.jpg

It's even worse because sunfish is an actual species name. Shimmerpelt and Echomist sound like something out of Starkit's Prophecy, they're so bad.

Piketooth could work, I think. A pike is a fish and -tooth is an ok suffix. .3.

Hm, I don't actually like the use of -tooth, but it's up to Cobalt

Hrmm. I like Ryestorm, and I've got Sorrelwhisker down as an idea too. Sunfall is described as bright ginger, though, so Rye- may not be quite fitting. As for Piketooth, I'm very iffy on -tooth as well, so I'd rather stay away from it. Once I get on to developing his personality a bit more, I suppose I'll be able to see what's fitting.
Also, a couple examples on what I'm doing for each character and how I aim to have them by the end of this. Tell me what you think:
-----
Bluestar is hard to impress. Her gaze is calculating without being cold, but it certainly isn't warm either. She's scrutinizing you, wants you to be perfect, and while she never loses her temper, you will know when she disproves. She's been scarred many times, emotionally and physically, but she has forced herself up time and time again. As much as she cares for her clan, she values her time alone where she can think things through. She thinks a lot, plays out every possibility in her mind, and her decisions have never yet failed ThunderClan. As intimidating as she may seem, she is deeply respected by all her clan for standing strong and doing what is best.
As a kit she'd be more carefree and kinder, but still overall calm and thoughtful. The slightly more distant, calculating aspect of her personality would develop as she encounters hardships in life.
Pinestar was strong and and wise and courageous and a skillful hunter, but he never did seem to quite fit in. He got to be deputy because he was doing so well in other areas, but when he got to be leader he was overwhelmed by every decision, terrified of becoming a cruel leader who didn't listen to his clan. Over time, the pressure forced him to the easier life of a kittypet, much more for the right to make his own decisions again without worrying over the clan than for the easy food and warmth. Even as a kittypet, he sometimes wishes for the wild, but knows he would just bump into the Clans and be scorned for his choices, just what he needs not to happen.

I like those a lot. Good on you. Sunfall/his replacement name should be stricter, too.

Oh, I was thinking Rye- because people who use Sun- use it for golden cats. I didn't know he was ginger.
