Especially the ones with odd obsessions of using their claws/odd weapon they STOLE!!1! to rip out guts...

"Evil" is just such a cop-out when it comes to building a character (same goes for "insane", which has ableism as an added bonus). Rather than actually building a character with unique motivations and a personality of their own and real reasons for doing the things they do, you just stick a label on them.

Insane is even worse D: Everyone uses it for a character who's bad. When only like 4 characters in Warriors where insane.
