Hey there, I'm Rolo and I'm a bit of a derp.
I have the unfortunate situation that I helped make the site, so acting like a new member feels weird. So I'm gonna skip that part and I'm gonna try and describe me somehow. I'm not great at this, but try I must.
I've been in the Warriors fandom since... uh, when I was very young. I believe I read the first book when I was 13 maybe? Bizarrely, it had just been released and I couldn't get hold of the second book, so I forgot about it for a long time. One day I picked up the second book years later and got back into the series. I couldn't find the rest, living in the UK, and I had to import the whole first series from America. Strange stuff, eh? But yeah, I had no idea there was even a fandom until I was 15 (the books never took off here). I dabbled in rping here and there for a bit, blablabla. Years later, I met a group of awesome people and ended up collaborating on a site they made.
It's still going. And I now run it. The heck. And it's one of the very few Traditional Naming sites out there and it's been going for over three years now. It's called Forest of Fate.
But yeah, despite being a long-term admin, I'm not the normal sort. I'm not strict or a natural organiser, I'm very laid-back. However, for some reason, people seem to be intimidated by me initially. Maybe it's my tendency to type in an excessively essay type style (with hint of ramble) if I'm not typing in a style like this. But then, as soon as they hear my voice, they fall over laughing and can't take me seriously again ;D.
Rolo is a slightly scatter-brained, clumsy lady who rambles. I'm harmless and I love people. I study psychology at university for this very reason. My brain doesn't like to let me speak, and I am far less eloquent when I talk out loud and it makes people laugh (I love making people laugh). I'm also way too fond of innuendo.
I love Phantom of the Opera and Rocky Horror a lot. Rocky Horror more so.
Anyway, I plan to hang about, post a few essays and write some replies to discussion. I will try and be as concise and non-rambly as possible. I'll lurk both Canon and Fanon. I only have a limited amount of knowledge for Canon, having slammed maybe the 3rd or 4th book of the second series down in disgust and never picking it up again.
But yeah, s'lovely to be here. And thanks for suffering through that.
