The poor sinner for the pain
Or he who pays for the sin?”

“So you’re here to hear my story, I am I correct…?” the voice of dusky ginger molly with gaping wound in her stomach question, now it to many living cats seeing a cat with a fatal wound walking and talking seen….odd, but this wasn’t real-life, after all real-life wasn't maze of dark bony roots and branches of trees, with no signs of prey animals and scent of decaying flesh and death hung around like air. Life certainly did have light, but this forest didn’t it was block out by the trees, and what little sky was shown was pure black. In fact this was the realm of the Dark Forest, the darkest pits of StarClan where they forced felines who have done unspeakable crimes against the code to, where the sounds of lonely wails and cries of remorse are normal. This dusky ginger molly was use to it, after she was dead, which could explain why she wasn't bleeding on to the forest floor with her guts all hanging out. The molly looked long dead, with eyes that were an ugly milk white and lack an pupils, they more like they were rolled over, her fur filled with knots and tangles with some thorns stuck in its pelt here and there and she was pitifully skinny, ribs jetting out, and paws that seem to melt into the forest floor. The molly let out a sigh.
“Of course, first give me your back story, this may be your only chance at a second chance that we may give you. StarClan realizes that half your reasons for your crimes were not your fault,” the soft voice of cat unlike the other cat, this one was tom, he looked like the prime of his age and stars fitted along his pelt, and star-light shimmering like thick fog on his paws, his fur was dark grey and eyes were a pale blue color. The tom had his tail held high and ears pointed forward, slightly outward, he more certainly comfortable talking to the molly.
The dusky ginger molly let out a snort, twitching it’s ears, “alright,” agitated in her tone, she hated StarClan nosing into her business, those star-furs were highly annoying poking into the gloomy Dark Forest like they own place, oh wait, they did own the place ever since Dark Forest lost against StarClan in very ridiculous war seasons ago, StarClan won because their allies and stupid magical Three and the idiot Firestar the noble. Now StarClan strode around the gloomy place like fat Dayclanners, hold on, some were fat Dayclanners.
“Skwatcher, are you sure this thing should be given a second chance,” a third cat, another molly, like this ‘Skywatcher’ tom, fur laced with stars, but this cat had brown and cream classic tabby pelt and yellow eyes, the molly’s pupils were narrowed looking the dusky ginger cat.
The dusky ginger molly probably aware of the other molly and replied back to the other molly’s questionable tone with sharp tone of hostility, “oi, stupid can’t you shut your kitty-pet lovin' mouth, it’s your fault that SkyClan is the way it is, if you haven’t brought those stupid kitty-warriors and caused a rift in the clan,” the dusky ginger molly snarled out those word, as if she wanted to say that the other molly for seasons, her tail arched and bristled, ugly milk white eyes bulging open and staring directly towards the molly, and the back of her ears showing.
Skywatcher’s tip of his tail twitched and along with his ear, he was getting annoyed by the two mollies, voice filled with annoyance, “I must agree, Leafstar, your causing yourself to get a fight, this molly doesn’t like in fact many of the new SkyClan don’t like you, because your cause in the SkyClan Civil War 1,” he turned his head towards Leafstar glaring at her, “I suggest you leave.”
“I will not leave, I fought rats bigger than her, and if she wants a fight I’m giving her one, the filthy serial killer needs to be taught a lesson in respect,” she growled.
“So stupid is tryin' to be brave, I’m so impressed,” she mocked, “Well ,you must be blinder than me then, because I ain’t no rat.”
“Oh really, you sure do smell like one,” Leafstar taunted back fur bristling.
“Well, at least I didn’t go and mate with a kittypet while bein' a leader and namin' a kit, Harrykit, seriously, your terrible a namer, and we’re lucky he went an died in the Civil War 1, because SkyClan doesn’t need no stinkin’ Harryfur or Harryfang runnin’ around playin’ warrior, like most of your stupid SkyClan,” the dusk ginger molly hissed.
“The Fact, that your stupid SkyClan is hardly a clan, you don’t focus on the freakin’ skills of your warrior, if fact you name them with givin’ a care about skills, and the Code tells you that a cat can’t live a ‘paw in both warriors, but course the high and mighty Leafstar doesn’t give a rat-tail about anythin’, but herself,” the dusky molly snapped eyes still staring at Leafstar.
“I’m not selfish, I care deeply about my clan,” Leafstar retorted.
“Funny,” snorted the other cat, “because last time I checked female leader don’t go lettin’ in every loner they see and go mate with some tom and bear his kittens, females are suppose to focus only on the clan, not themselves,” she growled lashing her tail, “I feel so lucky that another rule has been added to code.”
Leafstar looked away ears sideways, and then turn her right back to the other molly, “and I don’t regret loving Billystorm, not one bit, and since when did a warrior know about being a leader,” she growled.
“Since, when did leaders allow their deputies push them around, at least Sharpstar got stuff done under his reign, got rid of those stinkin’ kitty-warriors.”
“Sharpstar was a terrible leader; I should have gotten the chance to force him out his rank.”
“Why, because he chased out all your precious kitty-warrior out of the clan, and then what placed a kitty-pet as deputy, I know what you have done, Leafstar, and guess what SkyClan will never forgive for all your mistakes you have done as leader, why don’t you go on fade already, I would love to see the faces of Billystorm and your spawns when you do, in fact I will enjoy every moment,” the dusky molly spat at her paws of the StarClan Cat.
Leafstar snarled, “How dare you insult my mate and my kit, why you little piece of fox-dung,” the cat lunged for the dusky molly’s neck. The dusky molly hissed slapping Leafstar in the face, trickles of blood landed on the ground and pieces of fur flew everywhere. The mollies shrieked, rearing up and swiping at each other with fury in StarClan cat’s eyes and the Dark Forest cat’s eyes bulging out, blood trickled down the wounds of their face and their fur clogging up their claws. The felines snapping at other, hissing and spitting as they dragged each other into a ball and started rolling around kicking at each other with hind legs and snapping at each other throats. The two mollies pulled apart, “it’s too bad, your little kittypet mate is goin’ mourn your tenth death, weak leader,” she sneered.
The molly jumped claw outstretched and the other molly met her with claws to dusky cat’s face. Then moments later they became once again a rolling ball of cats kicking and trying biting each other throats out. Fur and blood was everywhere, with normal moans of remorse were sounds of cats hissing, snarling, and spitting like a ball of snakes.
Skywatcher watched as the dusky molly managed to pin Leafstar down, “say good-bye, kitty-pet lover,” she whispered.
“Enough, both of you, Leafstar you need to leave,” he hissed trying to pull to two mollies apart, “Leafstar, we’re trying to give a killer another chance at life, not murdering each other.” When, the two mollies were apart from each other, Leafstar snorted, panting.
“Alright, Skywatcher,” she panted limping away, “personally, if it was up to me, she would still rot here,” she growled shooting the two cats an angry glare, until her tip of her tail disappeared from view.
“Alright, where were we,” muttered Skywatcher, turning towards the dusky ginger molly.
“I was goin’ to tell my past,” muttered dusky ginger cat.
“Ah, yes, please do go on, and start with a brief history of your parents,” Skywatcher ordered the cat. He needs every bits of her past to determine if she was allowed to have another try at life.
The dusky ginger cat licked some of her blood from her wound and looked at Skywatcher, taking a deep breaths, it was…awhile since her past had to be recalled, “Well before I was born my mother was raped by the Dayclan leader, Old Red, and when the clan found out they were angered by both my mother and Dayclan, of course back then mollies were gettin’ raped left and right by Old Red, he was the type of cat to take he wanted, when he wanted it, and didn’t care if any one liked it or not. For two moons, my mother dreaded giving birth to kittens she didn’t want. When the day came, the clan considered my birth unlucky,” she mewed.
“May I ask why your birth was so unlucky,” Skywatcher inquired.
The dusky ginger cat snorted and if she had pupils she would have been rolling them by now, instead her twitched her ears and tail, “well, that’s got to be one of the most stupid question any cat asked me, you’re from StarClan, right, the magical sparkle cats that are supposed to be, I don’t know, watching us like all the time. Before you went head and butted in that dumb question, I was goin’ say why,” she snorted, “continuin’ on, my birth was considered so unlucky, one, I was born a night with no moon, elders state on that on a night with no moon, was when both SkyClan Civil Wars started and the SkyClan massacre, I born in Leaf-bare, which is consider one of the most unluckiest seasons due to lack of prey and sickness, and I was the only living kit out of a litter of five,” she let out a soft sigh before continuing on, the dusky molly started shaking, “as I grew up, I was on outcast, bullied, my mother hated me, as soon as I was born she tried to dump me into the territory to die, but Waxstar forced her keep me claiming ‘as your punishment for mating with a Dayclan cat, forced or not, is to keep the kit, you be grateful that had her,’ my mother tried to starve me, she physically and mentally abused me,” the dead spirit got down her belly, closing her eyes, yowling, and let out a series of repeated panicky mewls, shaking and tail close to her body, the memories of her past…..were painful for to even recall talking about them, even she muttered about them she is could still see the terrible flash-backs of her mother with pure hatred in those eyes. She flatten her ears and lowered her tail, fluffed, she hard to break, but in this gloomy after-life, she cracked, she felt shame and fear for what she did.
She had become a monster from the lack of love, from the mother’s love she was never given, she didn’t have a cat to turn, because she was outcast, a shell of cat she could have been, and she became a cat who thrived on hatred and fear. She what to punish everyone for what they did to her, she wanted to be feared and respected, and to be a cat that nobody looked down on, “t-then, I became an apprentice…..I-I couldn’t live up to my mentor’s expiations…..I-I w-was an utter failure of SkyClan cat, an outcast and bullied for I was half-clan, unlucky, failure of a SkyClan cat that need to go kill herself or crawled back to my kitty-warrior father and his pesky gang where I belonged,” she stopped, she could still hear the echoes of sneering and her mentor shouting at her in her ears, and it was just cruel. She let out a low wail and more repeated panicky meows, “what have I done, I’m monster, blood-thirsty monster, how could I have stoop so low to kill all those poor innocent cats, they had families, and I destroyed them, I caused grief,” she wailed now on her belly, shaking even more, breathes were quick, like moment before her death, cornered in the very cave where she committed her crimes and was had she stomach tore right open for her unspeakable crimes, the day the only cat that care about her watched her bleed to death.
The words her heard while dying was in hushed and hateful tone filled with venom, “you got what you deserved, now I bid you a happy rotting in the Dark Forest, you ugly murderer,” and her ‘friend’ whispered that.
“I’m so sorry,” she sobbed, if she could cry she would be crying rivers of tears, the dark forest cat continued on with more ‘I’m so sorry and give me another chance’. Ugly white eyes looked at Skywatcher pleadingly.
“Oh, so now you’re sorry, it’s about time,” Skywatcher replied with dry and annoyed tone, tail swishing from side to side, ears twitching, he heard these pleas from way too many cats. He sighed, “Now calm down, if you want this second chance you have tell me everything you did.”
