hi, guys. I'm hauer.
I believe I've read most of at least three arcs, but kind of couldn't be bothered to keep up with... firestar's grandkids, wasn't it? I haven't even checked how many books have been published since I dropped them, and, frankly, I don't care to.
even still, I've always had a fondness for warriors characters, names, etc. I remember a few character duds of my own - specifically, an albino named cherryeyes and a black cat with heterochromia named witcheyes. I had a thing for eyes.
now it's been a long time since I've properly roleplayed or even really created a character, but making grey's acquaintance has sparked this old flame of mine, so if you all would suffer me I'd like to hop around here for the time being.
apart from my soft spot for warriors, I'm heavily into doctor who, fond of bbc sherlock, and getting into supernatural (halfway through the second season). I enjoy drawing, and I'm actually an art major at a csu since late august. still feels a bit odd, especially because college feels a lot more like high school than I was expecting.
I'm kind of very short. my favorite color is orange. I name basically absolutely everything (my car is donna, my laptop is david, my watch is paley, etc). I cannot play any instruments, but I do like to sing.
and! I'm very pleased to make your acquaintance. c:

Hi Hauer; welcome to Fourtrees. It's so odd reading your posts without some little color gradient under all your text.
I think everyone has a thing for eyes. Still, Cherryeyes made me smile. I wish albinos were as popular outside the Warriors fandom as they are within it.
Ahh Doctor Who yes. The other day my Spanish teacher asked, "These days, how do you identify an alien?" (in Spanish) (don't ask) and I answered that it would have a blue box. Or at least, that's what I tried to say. I've gotten pretty rusty with Spanish.
My car is named Cobalt (and she's a she). Never met anyone who's named their watch before, that's a new one. Have you named your phone?

RUDE LANGUAGE I'd typed almost my whole reply when I accidentally refreshed instead of opening a new tab. boooooo, no one to blame but myself.
a. I was missing the gradient too, so I fixed it! c: (took me a little bit to remember how to format it on proboards, but now I'm quite pleased as punch, ehe)
b. yessss albinism! I had a whole phase where a bunch of my characters were albinos, somewhere between the ages of twelve and fifteen. (humans and cats alike - no one was safe.) I did even try to pay some attention to photosensitivity, etc, but yeah, the skin / eyes were more than too fun, ehehe
c. TEN, I knew I liked you, oh dear. thoughts on last night's series opener? favorite doctor(s) / companion(s)?
d. the watch was named for convenience; in junior year, we had to know who came up with the watchmaker theory for a test or something, and it just stuck. haven't named my phone - it's this little old slide-up that I'm not fond enough of (wow, awkward phrasing) to have named. though really, it probably would've helped with how little attention I pay it, ahaha. so very unreliable when it comes to answering calls / texts, whoops~

Hullo Hauer, pleasure to meet you.
Witcheyes made me giggle. And then I told my little brother and he giggled. Not sure why I find that so funny.
Short people win. I'm actually quite tall, but my real-life friends are all short, so point proven.
Lovely to know that I share a name with a car, Ten. Just what I needed in my life. XD

guh, yeah. witcheyes, I believe, was originally a black kittypet named witch? and her eyes were, like, super vibrant electric blue / venom green, and other cats were freaked out, and it just gets worse as the story goes on. don't judge me
but yes, pleasure's all mine, cobalt! c:

guhh I am not yet up to speed on all the latest episodes. I've only seen up to... what, like... Eleven's first encounter with the weeping angels. But, anyway, of course, my favorite doctor is Nine, because he was my first doctor (and because... well... he's just the most Tennish of the doctors; it makes too much sense). Donna made for a really fun companion, though.
You should be proud! She's a good car. Hauls a lot of junk. Good gas mileage. Low roll-risk.

Hey, 'sup! I'm Mistytail, call me Misty C: Welcome to Fourtrees!
Cherryeyes is so cute oh my gosh. I actually have albinism, so people that pay attention when they write about it make me smile. C:

nooo, ten! also, immediate reaction to "most tennish of the doctors" was "wouldn't ten be the most 'tennish'?" but then I really realized what you meant, ahaha. nine is rather underappreciated - the only reason I don't really like watching his episodes is because of rose. can't tell you how much I hate her. still, empty child / doctor dances remains one of my favorite two-parters of the whole show.
hi, misty! and aaaaaahhhhh you're kind of very much the coolest?? makes me want to create another albino character so that I can pick your brain and actually be super accurate without necessarily resorting to long-winded articles, ahahaha.

The Doctor Dances is great, man. And on the subject of albinism, let me share this weird little trailer I found back when I was doing research on it. youtu.be/hz1qogXhpjUI like it just for the scene with the little girl and the bike.

Ten is my Doctor in the sense of being the first Doctor I ever saw and holding a special place in my heart, but Eleven is really excellent. So long as we're continuing the discussion of Doctor Who.
